Air Handlers
Air handlers are simply boxes with a fan and hot water heating coils (like a car radiator) for heating and also a refrigerant
coil if space cooling is desired. These boxes come in all sorts of configurations (floor-mounted, soffit models, in wall-models)
to fit almost anywhere in a building. Typically air handlers are ducted just like furnaces, but unlike a furnace they do not
require gas connections for flue venting. Many models are now available with variable speed fans.
The manufacturer of the Phoenix water heaters does not manufacturer air handlers, but is compatible with any and all air handlers
on the market. We have provided below links to some of the manufacturers who can assist in air handler products selection and
condenser matching, if required.
